The Origin of the Name "Liciapooh"

As my passion for creating effective products grew, I wanted a name that was personal and meaningful. If anyone is wondering about the name LiciaPooh, it originated from my mother, who gave it to me due to my love for the cartoon Winnie the Pooh. She combined my name with Pooh Bear, resulting in "LiciaPooh." This endearing nickname not only reflects a cherished childhood memory but also embodies the warmth and care I put into each product.

My journey with LiciaPooh Products Hair & Body LLC began out of necessity, as two of my four children were in desperate need of effective hair and body care products. The store-bought brands were not only costly but often failed to deliver the right solution. Determined to find something that worked, I turned to the internet, scouring YouTube and TikTok for recommendations. Despite the hype surrounding many products, even the ones I found on Amazon fell short of expectations.

Frustrated but not defeated, I decided to delve deeper into the world of natural oils and herbs. I spent countless hours researching ingredients known for their benefits in promoting hair growth, moisture, shine, and even remedies for eczema. This profound research led me to create my own formulations, which eventually became the foundation of LiciaPooh Products Hair & Body LLC.

After creating what is now known as Potion for my hair oil, I began making hair masks for my girls to do weekly treatments. One of my daughters, who was in desperate need of reviving her hair, particularly benefited from these treatments. Her ends were always dry and brittle, but after over three months of using the masks and our beloved Potion oil, her hair showed remarkable improvement that I could not have imagined. What truly touched me was her dedication; she would remind me to apply her oil every other day to keep her hair well-oiled and healthy.

With dedication and consistency in doing these hair regimens, her hair got healthier and longer. The transformation was truly remarkable, showcasing the effectiveness of natural ingredients and the power of a personalized hair care routine.

My journey with body care products took a similar path when crafting a body cream for my son. His eczema and allergies required careful consideration of every ingredient. Despite extensive research on suitable ingredients for eczema, I found that some recommended elements could potentially irritate the skin, exacerbating the condition rather than alleviating it. This was perplexing and frustrating; I couldn't understand why something intended to soothe would instead cause harm.

Determined to find a solution, I meticulously selected ingredients that were gentle yet effective, steering clear of known allergens and irritants. My goal was to create a cream that was not only soothing but also nourishing for his sensitive skin. I was tired of store-bought creams failing us and weary of repeated visits to the dermatologist for prescriptions that offered temporary relief at best.

Through trial and error, and with a commitment to using natural and safe components, I finally developed a body cream that addressed both his eczema and allergies.
